lucix Component kit · Signature Ledger

The parts every surface is assembled from.

The visual world is locked. Don't reinvent these per surface — copy a block, fill it with real product data, ship. The load-bearing pieces (the five verbs, the state glyphs, the half-said marker, the notification classes) carry product law on their backs; the law notes tell you what must not change.

01

Buttons & the five verbs

The verb row is a component, not five buttons — strict equality is law.

Actions

The five verbs PL-5 · strictly equal

Identical box, weight, padding, type at every breakpoint. No verb is "the good button"; none is "the loud danger button." Danger's signal-red never appears here — Escalate is a peer. Verify byte-equal, never by eye.

02

The state system

Every state is tellable apart by shape, so it survives with hue removed.

Commitment states PL-4 · shape ≠ hue

Clock & the defer aggregate

Arithmetic on volunteered dates — never odds, never a health tint.

Half-said marker & notifications

Half-said + verbatim quote PL-2 · PL-8

Half-said
G. Tan flagged a timing risk, in their words:“Migration can't start until Platform v2 lands. If that's the 31st, this is April.”

The four legal notification classes

1 · happened to your stuff
R. Delgado committed on Pipeline readiness.APAC Launch · 2h
2 · your clock
Your Mar 31 date is 14 days out.a date you set
4 · a nudge, from a person
R. Delgado nudged you: “Your read when you get a minute.”R. Delgado via lucix · 1d

Class 5 (auto-escalation, pressure) has no icon and no group — it is architecturally impossible. The nudge icon is neutral, never ochre (ochre is reserved).

07

Motion

Motion marks change; it never pressures. One authored moment per surface.

Signature moments (product-true)

  • commit — a row resolving into the navy dot (below)
  • seal — the brief locking on send; once per object, irreversible feel
  • bind — one condition connecting to its many bindings
  • grow — the map, nodes/edges as residue of acts open

The glyph settles into the navy dot (--dur-4, ease-out). Under reduced-motion the dot simply appears — the state change is never hidden, only the movement is dropped.
